Morning pages make my day more focused. Instead of jumping out of bed and into the chaos of the day, I take 20 minutes to bridge the dreamworld to the real through writing. I've found that each day I awaken with new clarity that, if not captured on paper, disappears from my awareness, its benefits lost. It is not always easy to take time for morning pages, yet each time that I do, the rewards of clarity and connection to myself are greater.
